What Makes This Generator Accurate?
We built the layout from actual YouTube comment rows, not from memory. The font stack is Roboto (YouTube's own), the spacing between elements matches YouTube's current CSS, and the like icon is drawn to spec. Dark mode uses YouTube's exact background hex (#0F0F0F), not a generic dark grey. Light mode uses the correct white with the proper border shade. The verified badge renders as a filled circle with a checkmark, exactly as it appears in the YouTube UI.

Is this free to use?
Yes, completely. No account, no trial, no credit card. Download as many comment PNGs as you need. There is an optional premium plan that removes the small viralGee branding watermark from exports and unlocks Ultra HD quality, but the generator itself is free forever.
Does the PNG have a watermark?
The comment itself has no watermark — the text, avatar, and engagement numbers are all clean. There is a small branded watermark on free exports. Premium users can remove it entirely and export at Ultra HD (3×) resolution.
Can I use my own avatar?
Yes. Click the avatar directly in the preview (or use the upload button in the sidebar), pick any image from your device, and it replaces the placeholder. It gets cropped to a circle automatically, just like YouTube does.
Does this work in dark mode?
Yes. Toggle "Dark Mode" in the sidebar and the preview switches to YouTube's dark theme instantly. Both modes are accurate to the current YouTube UI.
Can I set the like count to any number?
Yes. Click the like count directly in the preview to type a new value, or hover over it to reveal +/− buttons for quick adjustments. The display auto-formats large numbers (2431 shows as 2.4K).
Is generating fake YouTube comments legal?
Creating a comment screenshot for entertainment, satire, design mockups, or educational use is generally fine. Using a fake comment to impersonate a real person, deceive viewers, or manipulate opinion is not. Use common sense — this is a screenshot generator, not an injection tool.
What resolution does the PNG export at?
